GARY
SANTOS
MENDOZA

fifteen years building places where students belong.

aboutbook
“take care of yourself, the world is nuts. connect for what you have to offer.”
the goal

keep his red and blue, keep all of his content, skip the generic template.

Gary had a traditional academic profile. The brief was a personal brand that reflects who he is, using the colors and the content he already had.

the first screen

the hero says who he is, right away.

His name, his photo and two clear buttons, all above the fold. The name no longer breaks mid-word.

his background, laid out like a cv.

I reorganized his professional background into a clean, cv-inspired layout. Roles are listed the way a cv lists them, and his awards are mentioned once.

publications

his publications, as a bookshelf.

His work gets the attention it deserves: each title sits right under its own cover.
